Members of the 2021 SHARE Benefit Golf Tournament Committee and a representative from First Financial Bank, the tournament Title Sponsor, gathered recently to announce the proceeds from the 28th Annual First Financial Bank/SHARE Foundation Benefit Golf Tournament.
The 2021 Tournament raised $30,225 for SHARE Foundation, bringing the total amount raised to $1,115,764.
Funds raised each year continue to remain local and are used in Union County.
The funds raised from the tournament will benefit SHARE Foundation’s local agencies that dedicate their time to improving the health and well-being of those in the community. Those agencies include Chaplaincy Services at Medical Center of South Arkansas, eXtreme Youth Programs, grants through the SHARE Foundation’s Violence Intervention Plan, HealthWorks Fitness Center, Interfaith Clinic, Life Touch Hospice, Palliative Care of South Arkansas and scholarships.
“The annual golf tournament is a true community-wide event, and we are thankful each year that First Financial Bank agrees to return as the title sponsor,” said Dr. Brian Jones, SHARE Foundation president and CEO. “SHARE Foundation is able to serve many different people in the community, so we are happy this tournament can raise funds for all of our agencies since our mission is focused on improving the health and well-being of those in our community and surrounding areas.”
