The euphemism has taken many forms since its conception in October when a NASCAR reporter mistakenly reported that crowd members chanted, “Let’s go Brandon” in support of racer Brandon Brown when they actually chanted, “F*** Joe Biden.”

The meme inspired several top-ranking songs on the Apple Music chart. It also took over sports stadiums with seas of fans chanting the phrase. Most recently, a man said the phrase directly to President Joe Biden during a live phone call over the Christmas holiday.
