A face in the Lambeau Field crowd at Saturday night’s 49ers-Packers NFL playoff game: Alex Rodriguez. With a Packers wool cap on his head.
Oh, and he was dancing. Sort of.

Fox Sports did a brief cross-promotion with one of its MLB studio hosts in the fourth quarter. The original A-Rod was watching the other A-Rod, Aaron Rodgers, try unsuccessfully to guide the Pack to a snowy divisional round victory. The camera zoomed in on Rodriguez and, it was believed, a companion as he swayed to the music on the PA system. Or maybe he was just trying to stay warm on a sub-freezing Wisconsin night.
Whatever he was doing, Rodriguez managed to get on TV, and the internet finally had something to talk about with this game (OK, there was plenty to talk about, but awkward-looking Rodriguez was more interesting to much of the ‘net).

Not least because Rodriguez was in enemy sports territory. Remember, he owns a big piece of the NBA’s Timberwolves, who reside next door in hated Minnesota. Rodgers bought a piece of the reiging NBA champion Bucks a while back.
And because he may have front-ran with the Packers in midgame.
Other random reactions to Rodriguez spending a night on the frozen tundra:
I have absolutely zero doubts that this appearance was totally staged by Fox and A-Rod. It’s 13° and he has nothing covering his neck or face? Not buying it. pic.twitter.com/i3R7u9TdXc
