There’s a chance that Doug Pederson could be back in the NFL for the 2022 season.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Pederson interviewed with the New Orleans Saints for their head coach opening on Sunday.

Pederson coached the Philadelphia Eagles for five seasons (2016-20) and finished with a 42-37-1 record. He famously led the team to their first-ever Super Bowl title in 2017 over the New England Patriots.
He also led the Eagles to the playoffs in 2018 and 2019 before being fired in 2020 after a 4-11-1 record.
Since then, Pederson has taken some time off but looks ready to get back into the game.
The NFL world is a bit mixed on if he’d be a good replacement for Sean Payton.

Payton decided to step away from football last week after he coached the Saints for 15 seasons. He finishes his tenure with a 152-89 record, plus won the Super Bowl in 2009 over the Indianapolis Colts.
This process looks to be just getting started with how many interviews the Saints have coming up.
