WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Hartford head women’s golf coach Pete Stankevich has announced the schedule for the Hawks’ upcoming 2022 spring season. The Hawks are set to compete in seven tournaments, capped off by the MAAC Conference Championships in Orlando, Fla.

The Hawks tee off for the first time on March 11-12, when they open the season with the Sacred Heart/Daytona Beach Invitational, held at the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla. Following the two-day event in the Sunshine State, Hartford returns home to host the Hartford Blackledge Invitational on March 28, held at the Blackledge Country Club in nearby Hebron.
The Hawks kickstart April with two tournaments on April 2-3. Hartford travels to Grasonville, Md., for the Prospect Bay Intercollegiate, held at Prospect Bay Country Club, before they return home to host the Hartford Wintonbury Hills Invitational at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course, located in neighboring Bloomfield.
The final stretch of the 2022 regular season schedule lands the Hawks at the Great River Golf Club in Milford, Conn., for the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational (April 10-12). Hartford wraps up the regular season with its final home tournament, hosting the Hartford Gillette Ridge Invitational on April 15-16, at the Gillette Ridge Golf Course in Bloomfield.
The Hawks conclude the 2022 spring slate at the MAAC Conference Championship in Orlando, Fla. Held at the Disney Magnolia Course, the Hawks are looking to repeat their success in 2021, as Maria Loza took home the individual title for the second time in her career.
