TEEING OFF
• With a twenty-team field, NM State will have a competitive tournament to resume its spring season.
• Boise State and Nevada both crack the top 50 nationally and will compete in the field against NM State in Palm Desert.
• At the Border Olympics, hosted by Houston, NM State finished in a tie for seventh place with a team score of 900. Garrison Smith led the way for the Aggies in a tie for 29th place.
• The Aggies lineup will feature Alvaro Morales, Matt Jackman, Joseph Robson, Aidan Thomas, and Garrison Smith.
• Unlike most collegiate golf tournaments, the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate will be a three-day event. The event will still be 54 holes but only 18 holes will be played each day.
COMING UP NEXT
• After the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, the Aggies will head back to Texas to compete in the All-American Intercollegiate, hosted by Houston. The event will take place from March 21-22 in Humble, Texas at the Golf Club of Houston Tournament Course.
