LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech men’s tennis team closes out a four-match homestand on Saturday and Sunday at the McLeod Tennis Center.
On Saturday, the 36th ranked Red Raiders will host Wichita State (6-5) at 11 a.m. Sunday will feature No. 60 University of Texas at San Antonio (5-3) at 10 a.m.

Reed Collier took the lead by securing his second-ranked win of the season. The sophomore took down No. 99 Ezekiel Santalla 6-4, 6-1.
Olle Wallin won his fourth singles match in a row defeating Adhem Gaber 6-3, 6-2.
Piotr Pawlak capped the win off for Tech on the No. 6 court. The freshman dropped the first set 6-0 before taking the next two sets by a score of four and two.
Scouting Wichita State:
The Shockers come into Lubbock with an overall record of 7-5. Wichita State’s last win came against Denver, where the Shockers emerged victorious by a score of 6-1. The duo of Kristof Minarik and Alex Richards rank 49th in the ITA rankings. The shockers are currently on a two-match losing skid coming into the weekend.
Scouting UTSA:
UTSA enters the weekend ranked in the latest ITA polls. The Roadrunners rank No. 60 overall and have won three out of their last four dual matches. Their last win comes against Troy by a score of 4-3.
