Jonny Evans named in Northern Ireland squad
Jonny Evans has been added to Northern Ireland’s squad for their friendly against Luxembourg.
Manager Ian Baraclough originally left Evans out because of the Leicester defender’s hamstring injury but the 34-year-old made his injury comeback on Sunday.
Evans replaced Timothy Castagne in the 64th minute to help prove his fitness to his national team manager.
He could feature against Luxembourg on Friday but will not face Hungary next Tuesday as his minutes are being limited after being sidelined since December.

In a statement before the quarter-final win over Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium, Chelsea expressed concerns over “sporting integrity” issues if fans are unable to attend matches.
