SEDALIA — The Chillicothe High School soccer Lady Hornets certainly didn’t want to open their new season with a loss – much less a shutout defeat, but, all things considered, including having two projected starters out with new injuries and how last season went after a similar debut against the same foe, last Friday’s 3-0 setback at the hands of CHS alumna Meredith Brick’s Sedalia: Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers likely ranks as nothing more than a speed bump on the 2022 Chillicothe journey.
