KENNESAW, Ga. – Bella Kil was tabbed as ASUN Golfer of the Week for her stellar outing at the Pinetree Women’s Collegiate, the conference announced Thursday.
With a 2-under 214 score for the two-day event, Kil won individual medalist honors in the 68-player field by two strokes. She carded back-to-back rounds of 2-under 70 on Monday.
Kil finished second in par-5 scoring (4.58), tied for second in par-4 scoring (4.10) and pars (39) and tied for third in birdies (9) and par-3 scoring (3.00).
The honor marks the first ASUN Women’s Golfer of the Week honor of her career and the second by an Owl this season (Caitlyn Campbell-Nyman on March 3). This is the 42nd ASUN Golfer of the Week achievement in the program’s history.
The Owls conclude the 2021-2022 regular season at The Brickyard Collegiate hosted by the Mercer Bears. The tournament begins on Monday, April 4 and concludes on Tuesday, April 5.
KSU will go for its fourth-straight ASUN Championship on Easter Sunday, April 17 through Tuesday, April 19 at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Ga.
