VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota football will host an open practice and scrimmage at 1 p.m. April 23. It will serve as the final practice of the spring slate for head coach Bob Nielson and his Coyotes. The event is free and open to the public.
Season Tickets
Season tickets, both renewals and new accounts, are available online at GoYotes.com/Tickets or by calling the Coyote ticket office at 605-677-5959. Please contact the ticket office at tickets@usd.edu with any questions.
Postevent Autographs
Join the Coyotes on the field in the DakotaDome following the scrimmage as student-athletes will be available for autographs and photos.
Entrance and Concessions
Patrons are asked to enter and sit anywhere on the east side of the facility where concessions will be available. Outside of suite and loge box owners, the west side entrances and west side seating areas will be closed.
Radio Broadcast
A broadcast of the open practice and scrimmage will be provided by the Coyote Sports Network where John Thayer serves as host. A link to that broadcast will be provided on GoYotes.com. The broadcast begins at 12:45 p.m.
Track, Softball, Soccer
The spring scrimmage coincides with other Coyote athletic events taking place that Saturday. The track and field program is hosting the South Dakota Challenge at the Lillibridge Track Complex starting at 11 a.m. Softball is hosting Omaha in a noon doubleheader at Nygaard Field. Soccer is hosting an alumni game at 11 a.m. at the First Bank & Trust Soccer Complex and will host Morningside in an exhibition game at 1 p.m.
Parking
Football fans are encouraged to use the parking lots directly east and directly south of the DakotaDome on April 23. That includes lots A, B, C, and D to the east and lots 39 and 36 to the south.
