Douglas County Cancer Services will have its 9th annual ‘Get Tee’d Off at Cancer” benefit golf tournament on Saturday May 7th.
It will be held at the new Bar Run Golf & RV Resort off of Melrose Road, west of Roseburg.
The tournament is a four-person scramble with registration from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. The entry fee is $145 per player. The deadline for entering is May first.
The tournament raises money for DCCS to support local residents who are undergoing cancer treatment with special items they need including clothing, and by providing financial assistance for rent, groceries, utilities and gas cards to get patients to their appointments. DCCS is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization. All funds remain in the county to assist local residents.
