QUOTABLE
Jeff Blashill on the Red Wings’ offense versus the Senators
“I thought on some cases we missed the net, some cases we didn’t shoot and some cases the goalie made a save. But I can’t look back on the game and say we didn’t generate chances. I think we generated enough chances.”
Marc Staal on what was missing for Detroit
“The whole third period, we’re trying. We’re trying to create, trying to get into their zone and create offense. For whatever reason against this team, we had a tough time finding ways to do that.”
