PAMPA, Texas (KFDA) – The Pampa Harvesters celebrated college signing day for senior Bryan Alderete who inked his National Letter of Intent to play for NCAA DII West Texas A&M men’s soccer.
The midfielder ended his Pampa career with 48 total starts, 12 goals and 30 assists. Plus, he helped lead the Harvesters to the third round of playoffs in 2022 for UIL 4A.
”Means a lot. Since I was a little kid I always dreamed about it. I had former coaches that played for WT,” said Alderete. “Most of my family they’re alumni to WT, so it just means a lot ot be able to play there and just very grateful of God for this opportunity. Grateful that the coaches there gave me the opportunity to play there.”
The former Amarillo soccer club player is excited to play at WT with Sandies’ Braden Wilson, Jacob Perez and Jack Wetzel.
