Three men sit atop the leaderboard at the 2022 AT&T Byron Nelson heading into the weekend at TPC Craig Ranch. First-round leader Sebastian Munoz followed up his red-hot 12-under 60 in the opening round with a 3-under 69 on Friday to sit at 15 under. The former North Texas Mean Green standout is joined by Texan Ryan Palmer, who shot up the leaderboard on Friday thanks to a 10-under 62, and journeyman David Skinns.
The trio will look to fend off a slew of big names. Jordan Spieth, Joaquin Niemann, Justin Thomas and Scottie Scheffler are all within arm’s reach. Each capable of finding lightning in a bottle, Spieth will attempt to notch his second victory in as many starts in his first outing since his playoff triumph at the RBC Heritage. Known to play some of his best golf in his home state, Spieth has previously won the Charles Schwab and Texas Open and would love to add the AT&T Byron Nelson to his winning résumé.
