Tielemans pursuit
Mikel Arteta is pushing Arsenal to make an opening £25million bid for Leicester City playmaker Youri Tielemans, according to The Telegraph. football.london previously reported that the Gunners are interested in signing the Belgian international and the aforementioned report claims that Arteta has identified him as one of his leading summer targets.
The player has previously admitted that he keen to play in the UEFA Champions League next season but he is now reportedly open to the prospect of playing in the Europa League, the European competition the north Londoners will be playing in next term.
Jesus opens up
Arsenal target Gabriel Jesus has also opened up about his future at Manchester City, admitting that his future is still uncertain. “About my future, it’s still uncertain,” Jesus told ESPN Brazil.
“I have a contract with City and I have already expressed my desire to the City people and to my agent. I have in my head very clear what I want.
“Today, I want to celebrate a lot with City. It’s obvious that I’m very happy here.
“Tomorrow, if everything goes well for me, my wife and our family, Helena [his daughter] will come to the world. So, I have to take advantage of this moment.
“Then, think about the team, smile at the team again. And, on vacation, I decide about my future.”

Arsenal technical director Edu has sent fans a message on social media after the conclusion of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign. Thank you season 2021/22″, the Brazilian’s Instagram post read.
“I have to say how proud I am to be part of this team. We went through different moments during the season, but in all of them we believed in what we were working on – especially in our players.
“I can guarantee there was never a lack of effort, dedication and commitment and hours of work from no one in the club to end the season in the best way possible. Thank you to the fans for your great support (as always).
