Gervonta “Tank” Davis is one of boxing’s most electrifying knockout artists. On Saturday night, he meets a man who may be his equal in sheer knockout power when he takes on Rolando Romero inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Davis and Romero will be battling for Davis’ WBA secondary championship at lightweight. Both Davis and Romero are undefeated in their professional careers and have knocked out a combined 36 of 40 opponents. Add to that, a history of trash talk and bad blood and you have a recipe for an explosive clash.
The card also features a WBA secondary championship fight at middleweight with Lara putting his title on the line against Gary “Spike” O’Sullivan.
