RAPID CITY, S.D. – The 2021-22 high school sports season officially wraps up this week with the state boys and girls golf tournaments.
The Class ‘B’ girls golf tournament teed off Monday at the Hart Ranch, while the Class ‘B’ boys golf tournament is taking place at the Elks Golf Course.
The severe weather caused the State ‘B’ boys golf tournament to end early on Monday.
In fact, 71 golfers were unable to complete the first round.
So according to Randy Soma with the South Dakota High School Activities Association, the State ‘B’ boys golf tournament will resume on Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
The 71 golfers will then be allowed to finish and the tournament will only consist of one round.
