Court Appointed Special Advocates of Chautauqua County will hold its inaugural A Voice Fore A Child Beer and Wine Tasting Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, July 15, at Maplehurst Country Club in Lakewood.
Registration starts at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon. The 18-hole, scramble format tournament will feature on-course tastings by local breweries, wineries and coffee roasters. The tournament is presented by UPMC Chautauqua. The public is invited.
Registration is $500 for a four-person team and includes tournament greens fees and a cart, commemorative tasting mug with beer, wine, and coffee tastings on-course, hot dogs and keg on-course, buffet-style dinner at the awards ceremony, team picture and prizes. Registrations are due by July 1. The tournament is open to the public but space is limited to the first 36 teams.
Several on-course contests will take place. Prizes will be given to the first place men’s team and first place women’s/men’s team. Other event activities include a wine/beer pull, basket giveaway and bake sale.
