Manchester United players be reporting back to Carrington this morning as Erik ten Hag takes charge of training for the first time as the club’s manager.
A group of 15 players are expected to return for the start of pre-season training today, including a number of big names. The likes of David de Gea, Luke Shaw, Donny van de Beek, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford are all expected to be involved.
The rest of the squad, who have been involved in the recent international fixtures, will join up at a later date before United embark on their tour of Thailand and Australia.
While plenty of the current squad will be reporting back today, there still won’t be any new signings among the ranks.
United are still working on securing their first new addition of the summer, with reports suggesting they may be closing in on Frenkie de Jong, while Christian Eriksen is expected to make a decision on his future soon.
