Bronny James, the son of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, is considering playing in the NBL before he is NBA draft eligible, according to Joe Vardon of The Athletic.
James is about to enter his senior year in high school, and a year after that he will be able to choose where to play for that one year before being eligible to enter the NBA draft.
According to Joe Vardon, Bronny will choose from 3 options the next summer. He will either go to college, join NBA G league’s Ignite or go to Australia.
If his choice is the NBL, the only team considered is the Sydney Kings, as according to the report, the only big enough city to host the James family is Sydney.
It was reported multiple times that LeBron James has a wish to team up with his sons in the NBA. It might very well happen as the 37-year-old is in his contract’s final year, and might free up his options in 2024 to join wherever his son Bronny goes in the NBA.
