If the only thing missing from your miniature golf experience is a Buzz Lightyear-themed hazard, you’re in luck.
Pixar Putt, an officially licensed pop-up of the company’s animated movies, is hitting Denver starting Sept. 3 with 18 holes of mini-golf. Each hole is based on “the stories, characters and icons” from Pixar titles such as “Toy Story,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.,” “Finding Nemo,” “Coco,” “A Bug’s Life,” “Wall-E,” and “Inside Out.”
The outdoor pop-up will take over Rally Hotel in McGregor Square, the multi-use entertainment complex that opened in Lower Downtown, just west of Coors Field, in April. Organizers are billing it as a partnership with the Colorado Rockies. It has an end date of Nov. 27.
The pop-up previously set up in New York City, Houston, San Antonio and Chicago, organizers said.
The course, at 1600 20th St., will be open 3-10 p.m. Monday-Friday (last entry 8:30 p.m.) and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (last at 8:30 p.m. all days). Past 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday is 18-and-up.
Timed tickets are $31-$33 at pixarputt.com.
