There were a couple of noteworthy events happen at the Napoleon Municipal Golf Course recently.
On Thursday, Steve Roberts eagled the eighth hole. Witnessing were Bruce Schlosser, Phil Bauer, Tim Downey and Dennis Wenner.
On Sunday, Jordon Vocke had a hole in one on the 115-yard third hole using a gap wedge. The ace was witnessed by Troy Houser, Brandon Mercer and Andrew Keller.
Cats fifth at district preview
ARLINGTON, Ohio – Napoleon placed fifth out of nine teams at the Division II district preview at Sycamore Springs Golf Course Monday.
The Wildcats finished with a team score of 343. Toledo St. John’s and Toledo St. Francis each scored 317 for the low team score, with St. John’s winning the tiebreaker.
Bryce Bostelman paced Napoleon with a round of 79, followed by Will Fraker with an 84 and Konner Hoover and Parker Woods, each with 90. Brennen Babcock tallied 91 and Alex Lavin carded a 94.
The Wildcats host Bowling Green in Northern Lakes League action today.
