SCOUTING UCF
> UCF was inconsistent in 2021, the Knights at times looked elite and at times struggled. At one point in the season, UCF won 7 out of 8 games, including back-to-back wins over No. 6 Tulsa and No. 24 SMU.
> The Knights are 3-1 this season after coming in at second in the AAC Preseason Poll. UCF has wins over North Florida, UC Riverside, and UC Irvine. Their lone defeat came at the hands of No. 15 Wake Forest.
> Lucca Dourado, Anderson Rosa, and Gino Vivi were voted to the All-AAC Preseason Team. Dourado leads the Knights in goals with 3. Freshman goalkeeper Juanvi Muñoz has been a standout thus far in 2022. He is ranked 15h in the nation in saves per game (5.0) and was named AAC Goalkeeper of the Week for the week of September 5th.
> Scott Calabrese leads UCF in his sixth season. During his time at the helm, UCF made the NCAA Tournament in three straight seasons from 2018-2020/21, they have also made the AAC tournament final in every season since 2018.
SERIES HISTORY vs. UCF
> Temple and UCF have shared membership in the American since 2013. This will be their last match are conference foes, as UCF will be departing the AAC after this academic year.
> The Owls are 2-8-2 against the Knights. Temple last defeated UCF in 2018.
> Last year, the two met twice in a home-and-home series. UCF won both matches.
