After the NASCAR race at Texas Motorspeedway, Noah Gragson picked up his 4th consecutive race win this season. this certainly boosted the confidence of JR Motorsports co-owner, Dale Earnhradt Jr and prompted him to believe that Gragson could push for a record five consecutive wins in the Xfinity series. However, as per a NASCAR journalist, there seems to be a catch for that to happen.
Motorsports reporter, Holly Cain, stated, “@DaleJr says of his JR Motorsports driver @NoahGragson after today’s 4th straight NASCAR Xfinity Series win … “I’m proud of Noah and there’s no reason why he can’t go out there and set the record and win 5 (in a row).”

While it is certainly possible for Gragson to set a record, however, journalist Jeff Gluck, pointed it out that the record for 5 back to back wins was already set in place by none other than Kyle Busch.
NASCAR Fans react to Jeff Gluck’s answer stating Kyle Busch remains unbeaten in 5 Xfinity races back to back
Fans were skeptical of Gluck’s answer and countered that with theories that he did not win that record, on a consecutive basis, but rather by missing races in between.
Some fans stated that Busch cherry-picked tracks that favored his 5 race wins stream but that would not classify as consecutive, since he skipped races in between.
okay but jeff, that’s not in a row, he won 5 races that he entered in a span of 8 races. he didn’t win 5 races in a row

Doesn’t it make you wonder what it would be like if he ran full time xfinity
— Noah Belleville (@MuskratMoldy) September 24, 2022
No, this is in terms of consecutive races, as in back to back to back to back weeks, not 5 cherry picked races over 8 weeks. It’s not consecutive if you miss races in between, even if you won all the races you entered.
