The Legends League Cricket (LLC) has been caught up in an ownership row as the Delhi High Court last week issued a notice to the Chairman Vivek Khushalani and CEO Raman Raheja of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) and asked them to file a response to a petition by their former partner Prashant Mehta.
Notably, Prashant Mehta has claimed that he has been illegally denied his share in the Legends League Cricket (LLC).
Mehta had sought arbitration for the breach of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) that he alongside Vivek Khushalani and Raman Raheja signed on July 27, 2021, to jointly run the Legends League Cricket (LLC).
Mehta has claimed that launching the Legends League Cricket (LLC) was his idea and he had roped in Vivek Khushalani following which they signed the MoU.
Prashant Mehta said that the memorandum of understanding (MoU) acknowledged his expertise in organising leagues, tournaments and other such events, and provided a 5% share in the private limited company that was proposed to be set up to run it.
However, Mehta has alleged that the duo of Vivek Khushalani and Raman Raheja ignored the MoU and inaugurated the LLC without giving him his due.
Meanwhile, the Chairman Vivek Khushalani and CEO Raman Raheja of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) have questioned the legal validity of the memorandum of understanding (MoU).
