San Diego Independent School District is gearing up for the fourth annual Superintendent’s Golf Tournament in December.
“In the last three years, we have provided over $60,000 in scholarships to San Diego ISD seniors,” said Superintendent Dr. Rodrigo Pena. “All proceeds will go towards the scholarship fund.”
This tournament is a fundraiser event to help award scholarships for senior graduates of San Diego ISD who have been accepted to a college or university.
“Thank you for your contribution toward my education,” said Larisa Saenz, Class of 2022 Salutation.
The tournament will be held on December 10 at the Alice Municipal Golf Course, 2290 N. Texas Boulevard, in Alice.
The teams, made up of three people, are eligible for cash prizes.
Anyone who would like to sponsor and get their name on a banner, or a hole sign has until Monday, Nov. 28 to call the school.
Teams who would like to participate can also call or registration at 7:30 a.m., the morning of the tournament.
