Joey Logano brought home a second Cup Series this year when he beat Ross Chastain, Chase Elliott, and Christopher Bell to the trophy in Phoenix. But all the wins and trophies have come as a result of years and years of hard work. This is Joey’s story.

The Connecticut man began racing as a 6-year-old. He started out with the quarter midget cars before moving on to other senior racing forms. But he was successful in all competitions he entered, regularly winning trophies during that time. The Loganos had found their son’s future.
He had the backing of his father, Tom Logano, a businessman. Tom used to travel with him to races and fund the cars he raced in before Joey was able to crack a sponsorship deal for himself.
However, for Joey, the path was clear. He had been very sure since early on in his career that he wanted to pursue racing as his life. In a video released by NASCAR, a young Logano is interviewed during his time in Bandalero racing.
While most of the video is a montage of bits of Logano racing, in the few lines he does speak, he shows the world who he is going to be. Joey said, “I really like the speed and the competition.”
Moreover, he was involved in a scary crash with 2 other cars. Coming out of the crash, luckily unhurt, Logano said “I guess I have no fear, I don’t know! (laughing innocently).”
To see a boy in the 4th grade show this kind of fearlessness is marvelous and surprising at the same time. No doubt he has gone on to achieve all that he has in his career since then.
Fans swoon over a young Joey Logano
Fans have seen the 32-year-old 2-time Cup Series champion. They have seen the man that came face-to-face with Denny Hamlin at Bristol. But they had not seen the cute Joey, and they absolutely loved meeting him.
Is this just me or doesn’t Joeys sad from the side look like Denny Hamlin
