The Walter Anderson Museum is raffling off a golf cart, but not just any golf cart.
This is the second year the museum has done a raffle for a golf that includes a design from Walter Anderson’s artwork.
This year, the design was inspired by the mural art in the community center next to the museum.
The room is famous for showing off Anderson’s work from the 1950’s.
To enter the raffle, you can go to their website — WalterAndersonMuseum.org.
It costs $25 for one ticket, or you can buy 5 tickets for $20 each.
All funds go towards helping the museum and its mission.
“I think there’s so many layers to the enjoyment of someone wanting it not only because its obviously a fun feature to have around town, but also the sentimental value of having it connected to something so cultural charged in the community,” said Sarah Dutton, the marketing and public relations coordinator for the museum. “This is our way of also allowing that story to live on through the generations of whoever is the lucky winner.”
The winner will be announced on Mardi Gras Day — February 21 — so you still have plenty of time to enter.
