In the first full month of the NHL regular season, no player stood out more than Stars left winger Jason Robertson.
The league named Robertson its First Star for the month of November. New Jersey Devils goaltender Vitek Vanecek and Toronto Maple Leafs right winger Mitchell Marner rounded out the NHL’s three stars of the month.
In the month, Robertson led the league with 15 goals and 26 points in 14 games as the Stars went 13-6-4 during that time. He became the first player in franchise history to top the league in both goals and points during a calendar month.
On the season, Robertson leads the league with 19 goals and is second in points only to Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid.
Robertson scored in each of his 14 games last month to extend his point streak to 16 games, dating back to Oct. 27. Robertson’s point streak is already the longest in Dallas Stars history. Brian Bellow’s 20-game point streak is the longest in franchise history, when including the Minnesota North Stars.
The Stars selected Robertson in the second round of the 2017 NHL draft. Over the last three seasons, Robertson has 160 points (77 goals, 83 assists). He had a career-best 79 points in 41 games last season.
The Stars rewarded Robertson with a four-year contract worth $7.75 million annually prior to the start of the regular season.
