Tony DeAngelo Scratched On Friday
25 mins agoPhiladelphia Flyers defenseman Tony DeAngelo will miss Friday’s clash with Vegas as a healthy scratch. He will be replaced in the lineup by Cam York, who is going to make his season debut. DeAngelo is riding a nice four-game point streak, but his overall effectiveness on the ice is always questioned and head coach John Tortorella has decided to go without him Friday. York has enjoyed a decent AHL campaign with 13 points in 20 games. He skated in his first 30 NHL games last season and posted 10 points, so the 21-year-old definitely has some offensive upside.
