50 Cent has revealed he lost millions of dollars after buying a lavish 21-bedroom mansion once owned by boxing legend Mike Tyson.
The rapper, 47, bought the property for a reported £3.3 million in 2007.
However, it wasn’t long before he began to regret that decision due to the costs of keeping the place running.
Since bursting on to the scene in 2003 with his hit single ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, the Grammy-winning rapper – whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III – has built up a colossal business empire over the years.

But if he had to pick one mistake he has made during his career, that would definitely be up there.
“The Tyson crib was like that, that was definitely it,” he said on the latest episode of ‘Big Boy’s Neighbourhood’ podcast.
“It had 18 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, and it had a night club in it.
“I paid $4.1 million and I sold it for $3.1 million.
“I had it for 14 years, the upkeep was about $700,00 a year, just for that.”
Asked if he had ever woken up without realising someone else was in the house at that point, he replied: “All the time.
“This shows how much I’ve changed since the beginning.
“At that point it was allowing me to bring everybody over and still allowing me to have my space.”
This isn’t the first time that 50 Cent has spoken about the difficulties he faced trying to keep everything running smoothly.

During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2019, he said: “I don’t want a big house anymore.
“I experienced that with the Tyson mansion. It was 55,000 square feet.
“Yeah, and then you look down the hallway and you go… Whenever you look down the hallway of the house, you don’t want to go down there. I don’t care what’s going on down there. I don’t want to go over there.
“And then things would break because you didn’t use it. Because you didn’t turn it on, now the light is flickering. I didn’t need it, it’s like a party space.”
