    Another seed falls as Bonzi makes third round

    Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi came back against Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta, the No 14 seed, 4-6, 4-6, 7-6 (5), 6-1, 7-6 (4) to reach the third round of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park on Thursday.

    Bonzi, ranked No 48, will play the winner of the match between Frenchman Adrian Mannarino and Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 22 seed, next.

    Ahead of his victory, the Frenchman edged out Italian qualifier Mattia Bellucci (4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (5), 6-4).

    Carreno Busta, ranked No 15, won against Argentinian Pedro Cachin (7-6 (4), 6-1, 7-6 (3)) in the previous round.
