Karen Khachanov vs Sebastian Korda updates; Elena Rybakina v Jelena Ostapenko result; Alex de Minaur hits out at media over Novak Djokovic reports

    January 24, 2023No Comments

Only fitting that Elena Rybakina serves out the match with another thundering ace!

It was a bit of a nervy finish in the end, but the Wimbledon champ holds on for the 6-2, 6-4 win and books her spot in the semis.

Ostapenko not very happy at the end of that one, a quick handshake with her opponent and she’s gone straight into the tunnel.

“I was nervous, especially in the last game, to be honest,” Rybakina says after the win.

“Not as nervous as before the match. I am super happy that I managed with emotions and I played very well today.

“Australia you never know. In the morning, one weather, then in a few hours it changes so you have to be ready always. There is the beauty of this sport. Everybody needs to adapt and I think I did really well from the beginning of the match and continuing through the first set.”
