What next for former NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson?
Coming to the subject of Jimmie Johnson, he is competing in his first full-time IndyCar season. Admittedly, his first IndyCar race was not something to write home about. He struggled in the first race of the season at St. Petersburg. Now, he will be heading to the Texas Motor Speedway for the next race. This will be his first ever oval race in IndyCar machinery, and he will be relishing the chance to redeem himself.
Additionally, the 2022 IndyCar season is long and will give him plenty of time to buck up the pace. However, his road will not be easy, especially since there are a lot of younger and potentially faster drivers. Furthermore, his teammates are also extremely quick; two of whom are champions. In fact, Scott Dixon won the 2020 season, and Alex Palou won last year.
