Hs 67 was supported by Alex Cobb with a 1-under 71. Braedon Wear added 73 followed by Connor Nolan’s 75. The afternoon counters included Conroy’s 70 as Wear and Nolan each registered 73. Cobb completed the card with 78. Carson Johnson saw his first collegiate career action shooting 81 and 82.
“It was good to get off to a fast start,” Interim Head Coach Miles Moseley shared. “It was quite cold and windy early, and the guys really hung in there. There’s a lot to be excited about with Paul having a five-shot lead and four in the top 20. I’m looking forward to tomorrow to see if we can get our first win of the semester.”
Tomorrow’s final round is a shotgun start at 10 a.m., Eastern time. The Mocs are paired with Texas State, Eastern Kentucky and South Dakota State beginning on holes 1-4.
