MOREHEAD, Ky. — Morehead State soccer is scheduled to play four contests this spring in their first action under new head coach Chris Fox.
“I’m really excited to see the team in action for the first time. The girls have been working really hard all spring as we implement the new philosophy. We will be playing against four quality opponents who will provide an excellent measuring stick to track our progress,” Fox said.
The Eagles will open their spring slate on the road against former conference rival, Eastern Kentucky, who finished their first season in the A-SUN as semi-finalists. The match is scheduled for 1:00 PM ET on April 2nd.
The team will then return home on April 8th for a date with Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.) before testing themselves against Division II NCAA Tournament qualifier, Charleston (W. Va.) on April 13th. Both matches will kick-off at 7:00 PM ET.
The spring schedule will end with a final road trip to in-state rival Bellarmine on April 24th at 7:00 PM ET.
The Eagles are coming off a season that saw them finish sixth in the OVC and post five shutouts, the second most in the conference.
