With the third and final Test between Pakistan and Australia on the line,Nathan Lyon took a key wicket with a controversial decision that has divided opinion.
Azhar Ali was given not out in the 46th over when Pakistan was just one wicket down, but Australia reviewed the on-field call, believing he nicked his sweep shot onto his pad before it was caught by Steve Smith.
Ultra Edge showed a series of small heartbeats — including when the ball went past the bat — and the third umpire felt it was enough evidence to overturn the decision.

Commentator Mike Haysman felt like it was a controversial decision, while Rob Key said it was “going to divide opinion”.
Haysman said: “It’s adjudicated out … just a tiny little heartbeat, there were a couple along the line, I thought, before it went to the bat. Anyway, that’s the decision from the umpire.
“There was movement clearly before the ball got to the bat as well as some heartbeats … he’s not happy.
“I’m still not convinced, I think it was inconclusive.”
Ali shook his head as he left the field and was seen throwing his equipment in fury upon returning to the dressing rooms.
Nonetheless, Key, Bazid Khan and Michael Kasprowicz were all in agreement that Ali was out and backed the decision.
“If you trust technology, which I think you have to, then I think it’s the correct decision,” Khan said.
Haysman went on to suggest that cricket should employ tech specialists — like in football — to operate DRS instead of umpires.
