Every fanbase in sports seems to be able to agree on one thing: all-black uniforms are awesome.
On Thursday, Florida Gators recently-hired head football coach Billy Napier revealed that his team will be rocking all-black uniforms sometime in the near future.
The fan-favorite move will also include some charitable work.
“We’re gonna wear black uniforms here at the University of Florida,” Napier said, per Richard Johnson of Sports Illustrated.
“But each one of those uniforms that we wear we are going to auction off and we’re gonna sell those and take the money and we’re gonna give that to families that maybe had some type of injury and setback and are living a little bit different lifestyle as a result of their military service and their setback.”

Napier said it’s unlikely that the Jordan brand would be able to get these black uniforms ready before the start of the 2022 season. But, the new digs should be ready before the Gators’ 2023 campaign.
Months before his first season with the Florida program begins, Napier has already gained some brownie points with the Gator faithful.
