Angel Hernandez, home plate umpire between the Philadelphia Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers game, did not have a good night last Sunday, he missed several balls for both teams and in the last inning the tension was present.
The Phillies’ slugger, Kyle Schwarber, was 3-2, he held on all the way, he thought it was ball, but Hernandez called the strikeout that was heard throughout the stadium, Schwarber turned, threw his helmet, the bat and faced the umpire who immediately ejected him.
It was the second out in the ninth inning in the game that the home side lost 0-1 to the Brewers. The run came on a sacrifice fly by Christian Yelich, Jace Peterson touched base and then came home.

Phillies fans left the stadium very upset, when Hernandez drives his car a man approached him and shouted: “You stink, I don’t like you”. To which the umpire responded with a smile and left.
Both teams talked about the umpire’s job
“It was a consistently big zone,” Brewers manager Craig Counsell said. “It was just a little big in a lot of areas. I think Schwarber said it was big on both sides and there was bound to be somebody upset when its like that.”
“Everyone kind of saw what was going on,” Schwarber said. “I’m not here to bury anyone, but that wasn’t very good. You wish that, I don’t know how to really say it, it just wasn’t very good.”
