Different NFL franchises conducted their rookie mini camps at various times and below is a photo gallery of Hokies competing on NFL squads.
Of Tech’s 10-plus guys who were invited to these camps and later signed, Amaré Barno stood out, with Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule being complimentary of the rookie and how he sees him fitting in the defense.
Matt Rhule says he envisions Amare Barno as a good fit for SAM backer in their scheme. Reddick/Luvu were featured there in 2021.

Next up for Tech’s Hokies in the NFL are three sessions of OTAs (organized team activities), which ranges from late May through early June. Then mandatory minicamp for every team is June 15-17, before training camp in mid-July and preseason games beginning in August.
