We all know Brad Keselowski is currently part-owner of RFK Racing. But his first foray into team ownership took place between 2007 and 2017 – the eponymous Brad Keselowski Racing. The team enjoyed success in the Camping World Truck Series but years later, we’ve developed a new appreciation for the team Brad built. With an amazing eye for talent, most of the drivers who drove for BKR have become huge names at the higher levels of NASCAR.

Keselowski announced BKR was shutting down operations in 2017, but the team managed to win the final race it ever ran. Briscoe earned the victory at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the final race of that season.

The playoff system was implemented for the Camping World Truck Series in 2016. That year, Daniel Hemric qualified, with both Chase Briscoe and Austin Cindric qualifying in 2017.

Several of the former Brad Keselowski drivers would level up and dominate the Xfinity Series. Let’s keep it at Austin Cindric, Chase Briscoe, Tyler Reddick, Ross Chastain, Ryan Blaney and Daniel Hemric. Combined, these drivers won 44 races in the Xfinity Series. Cindric has the most with 13. And no, Reddick wasn’t ever Amish, despite what the beard may suggest.

All those Xfinity Series wins translated into four Xfinity Series championships among former drivers for Brad Keselowski Racing. They were won in consecutive years also – Tyler Reddick won the championship back to back in 2018 and 2019, Austin Cindric won it in 2020 and Daniel Hemric won it in a thriller in 2021. You’ll recall Hemric and Cindric battling to the line at Phoenix, with Hemric barely edging Cindric at the line. Had it been the other way around? The number would still be four.

Yes, a former Brad Keselowski Racing driver has won the Great American Race – Austin Cindric this year. Chase Briscoe also holds the distinction of being the only driver to visit Panda Express during a red flag for the Great American Race. I doubt that one will be in any record book. Still cool though.

Daniel Hemric won the award in 2019, and Chase Briscoe in 2021. Worth noting that Chase Briscoe pulled off the Rookie of the Year trifecta – he’s won in in all three series. No one can out-rookie Chase Briscoe. He’ll rookie the hell out of you.

You’ve probably heard this already, but these four drivers earned their very first Cup Series W this season, and we’re sure there are more to follow. It may be gone, but Brad Keselowski Racing is the cradle – the wellspring from which greatness flows. We think a 10-year Brad Keselowski Racing reunion is in order. And everyone has to bring all their trophies.
