NHL drafts Vernon’s King

Vernon’s Ben King is heading to the big leagues.
The Vernon hockey product has been drafted by the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks.
King was the 10th pick in the fourth round, going 107th overall in the NHL Draft.
The 6-foot-3, 201-pound forward played several seasons in the Western Hockey League.
King played for the Swift Current Broncos from 2018 to 2020 before finishing his junior hockey career with the Red Deer Rebels from 2020 to 2022.
In his final season with the Rebels, King collected 52 goals and 53 assists.
King also played two games with the Vernon Vipers in the 2017-18 season.
