It may be the ‘Battle of the Brothers’, but there is no rivalry between the Tszyu and Horn families.
At least, not on the side of the Tszyus, who “have one over them”, and are about to “have two over them.”
“If he comes from the same boxing school as Jeff, then I sort of know the prediction,” Tim Tszyu told foxsports.com.au ahead of brother Nikita’s showdown with Ben Horn on Wednesday, July 20.

In what will be his third professional fight, Nikita is considered an overwhelming favourite, with the 24-year-old ending his debut in two rounds, and his second fight in less than a round.
Ben’s foray into pro boxing has been far rockier. The 32-year-old younger brother of former world champion Jeff is 4-4 over eight fights, and has lost his last two outings.
But still, he answered the call.
As others avoided No Limit’s number, Ben Horn picked up, to set up another Tszyu vs. Horn card, and give himself a shot at avenging Jeff’s 2020 defeat at the hands of Tim.
Will that happen, though?
Not if you ask Tim, or Nikita.
“I think Horn will make a lot of mistakes,” Tim said. “That’s how his style is… he’s probably [going to be in] a rush to move forward.
“With mistakes comes punishment. And in boxing, you’re gonna get punished. Especially since you’ve got a fresh Nikita who’s got dynamite in his hands.
“The bloke’s in trouble.”

Nikita, who last week said he was yet to watch any Ben Horn fight vision, isn’t getting ahead of himself, but “doesn’t really feel like there’s much of a family rivarly” after Tim forced Jeff’s team to throw in the towel.
As for what he thought of Ben at their introductory press conference, Nikita said he was a “nice guy”… with a punchable face.
“He has a face that I really just want to punch,” he said. “Nothing against him or anything.
“… But he has one of those faces that I really just want to get in there, make messy.”
While Nikita was understandably more reserved, Tim was less worried about saying the wrong thing.
“There isn’t a rivalry,” Tim said. “We’ve got one over them, and we’re going to have two over them. That’s what it is,” he added, laughing.
Tim made clear that neither Nikita, nor the Tszyu camp, are looking past Ben, but replied with a simple, “Yeah”, when asked if the team knew what was going to happen Wednesday.
The aim of the game for Nikita is to learn and grow, but right now, just finding an opponent who can survive in the ring for long enough for him to do that seems difficult.
“Look, it depends. He could be tough and be able to stick it out,” Tim said. “But I can’t see it man. I really can’t. Just being honest.”
