Six more regular-season chances for a non-winner to clinch a playoff spot. Who’s next?
KEN’S CALL: Martin Truex Jr. at Watkins Glen next month. He’s had four straight podium finishes there and if another non-winner beats him to the punch before then, he’ll probably need that win for a playoff spot.
DEAN’S DIRT: Keep an eye on Ryan Blaney at Michigan. I hear the blue ovals are usually pretty good at that place.

KYLE PETTY:You knew Kyle’s autobiography wouldn’t be your typical life story | KEN WILLIS
Percentage-wise, what are the chances Kyle Busch drives for a different team next year?
KEN’S CALL: The easy answer is 50-50, because either he will or he won’t, but I’ll say 60% chance he moves elsewhere. I know there are a ton of moving parts to a modern driver contract, but this one is taking way too long.
DEAN’S DIRT: It’s taking a while, but I can’t see Gibbs letting him walk. Still, time is certainly ticking. I’ll say 30%.
