Kyoto Hannaryz reached the agreements with the 25-year-old forward Cheick Diallo and the 29-year-old forward Jarrod Uthoff.
Diallo was drafted with the 33rd pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, and throughout his career, he played for the New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns, and Detroit Pistons.
Throughout 183 NBA games, Diallo averaged 5.2 points and 4.1 rebounds. His best was back in 2018-19, when he averaged 6.0 points and 5.2 rebounds for the Pelicans.
Last season, Diallo spent with the Puerto Rican team Cangrejeros de Santurce, averaging 16.3 points and 13.5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Uthoff was also in the class of 2016 but remained undrafted. However, he played for the Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Washington Wizards.
In 16 NBA games, his numbers were 3.7 points and 1.8 rebounds.
Japan won’t be a new experience for the 29-year-old as he spent last season with the SeaHorses Mikawa.
