Professional and elite amateur golfers represented by Trinifold Sports Management are set to receive the guidance and support needed to help them thrive in a world after elite competition, thanks to a partnership announced with Centrum Solutions.
Centrum Solutions is a hybrid working solution provider with more than 20 years’ experience in helping athletes to successfully transition from professional playing careers to the next chapter in their lives and working with Trinifold’s players such as Calum Fyfe, Lily May Humphreys, John Gough and Sam Bairstow, it will help them to prepare for life after competition on the world-stage.
Trinifold’s athletes are currently in the midst of one of their most successful spells on the golf course – Tom Sloman recorded a victory on the Challenge Tour in May’s Laguna Phuket Challenge; English amateur, John Gough, became the reigning English Amateur, Spanish Amateur and Lytham Trophy champion; and Josh Hilleard claimed his first win on the EuroPro Tour last month.
With other golfers such as 2022 British Amateur finalist Sam Bairstow, and Ladies European Tour Professional Lily May Humphreys, both enjoying fine performances across their respective schedules too, Trinifold and its supporting arm, Golfing4Life, is wholly embracing the principle that to support successful performances on the golf course, providing a strong foundation off it is essential.
James Byers, CEO of Trinifold Sports Management, said: “We approach each of our athletes as individuals with their own ambitions and dreams, in life and in golf, so we work closely with each person to identify their Plan A and then find an extension to that plan, so that we can offer tailored support that assures their success beyond the realms of professional and competitive golf.
“This partnership speaks to our principles as a company and to what we agree with our athletes at the start. Through tailored career support and opportunities, Centrum will help us to help them find their own career path, be that inside or outside of golf.”
To facilitate smooth and meaningful transitions, Centrum will introduce each golfer to prospective employers through player ambassadorial relationships and will also offer them tailored career support and guidance on an ongoing basis.
Co-founded by ex-England and Leicester Tigers rugby player Leon Lloyd, Centrum Solutions was born out of Leon’s own experiences of being dealt a career-ending injury blow. Through Centrum, he now seeks the answers to some of the toughest questions that professional athletes face during this time, most notably, where’s my career heading?
“Golfers possess distinct qualities such as problem-solving skills, resilience, integrity and creativity, which set them apart from their peers. They are some of the most employable individuals in the UK and we want to help them make the move from the course to the boardroom, once they are ready to do so,” commented Lloyd. “Working with Trinifold, we will offer security to their players and help them to plan for the future with professional development opportunities, career support and employer-relations.”
