TOWN OF WALLKILL – The Orange County Chamber of Commerce held its second annual Orange Re-Open Golf Tournament on Monday at the West Hills Country Club.
Chamber President Heather Bell-Meyer was pleased with the numerous golfers who arrived to support the chamber and its work. “We are a new chamber and seeing the tremendous support from the business community is exciting,” Bell-Meyer said.
The tournament’s primary sponsor was Ice-Time Sports in Newburgh and the MJ Neishewat Convention Center in Poughkeepsie. One of the guest players for Ice-Time was Town of East Fishkill Supervisor Nick D’Alessandro, a small business owner before being elected. “I cannot begin to stress the importance of utilizing all of the chamber’s resources to assist in your success,” D’Alessandro told the golfers. He also encouraged non-members who played to consider joining the organization. “The Orange County Chamber of Commerce is here to help your business grow and the networking with other business owners is a tremendous tool to help achieve your goals.”
“Seeing our members interacting in a relaxed setting while watching the future members witnessing the benefits of the Orange County Chamber tells me we are heading in the right direction,” Bell-Meyer said.
