“Um, I don’t know. I was going to call Jimbo afterward and tell him. If he can hear it here in the press conference, then I don’t have to call him,” Saban said.
Jimbo Fisher, of course, is Saban’s former assistant and the head coach of Alabama’s opponent seven days from now: Texas A&M. Fisher already declined one call from Saban this offseason in the midst of the brief war of words between the two head coaches.
He probably would take this one.
But all Fisher will have to do is watch the final three quarters of Alabama’s 49-26 win over No. 20 Arkansas.
