The Minnesota Timberwolves (1-0 preseason) are off to Las Vegas to take on the Los Angeles Lakers (0-1 preseason) in Las Vegas.
On Tuesday, Minnesota opened the 2022-23 preseason by defeating the Heat in Miami, 121-111. Third year guard, Anthony Edwards, led all scorers with 24 points while Taurean Prince and Bryn Forbes added 19 and 15 points, respectively. In addition, the rookies, Wendell Moore Jr. and Josh Minott made their NBA preseason debut. The Timberwolves were without Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert, and D’Angelo Russell during Tuesday’s preseason game.
On Monday, the Los Angeles Lakers hosted and were defeated by the Sacramento Kings, 105-75. Anthony Davis led the Lakers in scoring with 11 points while former Timberwolves player, Patrick Beverley, scored 8 points.
